Borgo al Cerro
Borgo al Cerro is located near the village of Casole d’Elsa in the province of Siena. It is in the heart of Tuscany. The old medieval village centre is only 800 meters away along an ancient track. Casole d'Elsa is a charming little hill top town and offers all you need to enjoy the good life. Grocery shops, bars, restaurants, ice cream shop and all essential services.
Borgo al Cerro is very quiet with no busy roads nearby and still easy to reach. There are 18 apartments of various sizes located in the two main buildings of the Borgo. The grounds are very well maintained with a beautiful garden with shady trees and an always green lawn as the borgo has its own water well. There are fruit trees and the guests are welcome to pick the fruit, which is organically grown. A range of signposted tracks lead away from Borgo al Cerro. These can be explored on foot, for long walks, or by mountain bike which you can rent. Children can play in complete safety as the whole area of the Residence is fenced off.
The apartments have simple and functional furnishings. They are warm and inviting, and all rooms have their original timbered ceilings and Tuscan terracotta flooring. Each apartment has its own separate entrance and own garden or patio, with a table, chairs, and sunshade. Inside, every apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen area.
