April and May are the months when the nature and landscape in Tuscany are at their most beautiful. It is perhaps the best time to visit Italy, the temperatures are pleasant, the light is fantastic (for beautiful photos), it is quiet and the people are relaxed. Many small hill towns organise sagre, the local village festivals where people herald and celebrate the new season. It is the season where everything comes to life and breathes authenticity.

An active holiday in the autumn. Take a break and enjoy the autumn sun in Tuscany. The olive harvest is in October, when temperatures in Tuscany are still pleasant and with plenty of sunshine. During the shortest days of the year you are outdoors the whole day.
During the stay we also visit the oleificio, the olive press, so we can see how the olives are processed into olive oil.
