In a beautiful setting, we offer a tailor-made cooking tour in a cosy atmosphere and with a real Italian chef. Because who else is the best person to learn Italian cuisine from?
For Italians, everything in life revolves around eating (together). It is an art and an important part of “La dolce vita”.

Program

The entire program and cooking courses are tailor-made based on your personal wishes.
During the cooking tour it is possible to visit the best local producers. You will taste, see and smell what master cheesemakers, winegrowers and many others produce. We show you only the best so you can experience the soul of Tuscany and La dolce vita. As Triptoscana, we have been traveling the Tuscany region since 2012 and we know the region like the back of our hand.

Stay

Depending on your wishes and the group size, you will stay in an authentic agriturismo or luxury villa. The accommodations are equipped with a large garden to relax in and a beautiful swimming pool. With a bit of luck you can also take a dip in the autumn.

Transport

You can come with your own car or by train / plane in combination with a rental car on site. The nearest airports are Pisa and Florence. Participants use their own (rental) car for the day program.

We enjoyed the cooking trip in Tuscany. We were taken to the gems and the cuisines that make this country so special. From olive grove to olive oil and dough to artisanal pasta. We got to see and taste it all, and then get to work in the evening with chef Frederico Frosali.
'Love goes through the stomach', that has been confirmed once again with this trip :-)

In the period from May 27, to June 3, 2023, we made a culinary holiday in Tuscany, in particular the Val d'Orcia, an area protected by Unesco. In one word it was great. This tour was tailor made for us and arranged by Triptoscana, Vincent and Osvaldo. In coordination with us, they have fulfilled this excellently, coupled with a good price/quality ratio.
It consisted of a three-day cooking workshop combined with truffle hunting and wine tasting, and a visit to a cheese farm. Furthermore, the time to relax and visit the area yourself. To all the beautiful places that Tuscany has to offer.
The stay at the Agriturismo was great. Wonderfully authentic and incredibly hospitable people and service. But the highlight was the cooking classes with Chef Allesandro. What an experienced and passionate man. We also learned that good cooking does not always have to be complicated and we Westerners have converted many dishes into something completely different. Highly recommended!!! Ever heard of the "Kissing Garlic"?

In other words, we can wholeheartedly recommend this kind of holiday. And wonderful that everything has been arranged and put together by Triptoscana.

During the autumn holidays we really enjoyed a tailor-made culinary cooking trip of 5 days. The base was a beautifully situated agriturismo near Montepulciano. Delicious extensive breakfast with home-made dolci. From here we visited a small-scale organic cheesemaker in Pienza and a winemaker in Montalcino. In the neighboring village we followed three cooking workshops with chefs Alessandro and Pablo. Great fun experience and delicious dishes cooked. We have already successfully repeated the recipes for the family at home. The highlight for us was the early morning truffle hunt with the passionate Nico and his dogs Rocky and Arno in the woods near Montisi. Fun, fascinating and impressive to experience this!

We had been looking for a good trip to Tuscany for a long time. The major travel agencies did not have the offer we were looking for. By googling we accidentally came across the Triptoscana website and shared our wishes. After a phone call with Vincent we were sent a trip, we made no changes and have just completed the trip. Beautiful locations, fun cooking workshops and wine tastings truly make for a fantastic culinary journey. We are very grateful to Vincent and Osvaldo. The service before, during and after the trip was excellent.
