"An amazing experience"
A fantastic start to our trip through Italy! “Picking olives in Tuscany”. After this experience, we will never look at an olive and olive oil the same again. It was educational but above all very enjoyable. Vincent and Osvaldo do everything they can to make the guests happy. Agriturismo I Moricci is a fairly simple but fine accommodation. Every day there was a delicious breakfast and lunch. In the evenings, delicious Italian cooking was served in the cozy kitchen, or we went out for dinner. The day trip to Volterra was also great. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back!

A journey with olive picking in the lead role, instructive from picking to olive oil. Pleasant hosts, who have provided and provided the necessary culinary treats. In addition to being very good hosts, Osvaldo and Vincent were also very good tour guides, they provided us with the necessary information about the agriturismo I Moricci; Volterra and Italy in general. A huge experience!

Through Triptoscana I booked an olive picking package. Tuesday morning I still worked in the office in Amsterdam and the same day at 21: 30h I was already in Tuscany in the apartment. Two days of delicious zen olives picking with a lot of time for culinary refreshments. I explored Florence on Saturday and Sunday. The hospitality of Vincent and Osvaldo was fantastic. They did everything to give us a nice holiday. And it worked!

Really enjoyed the olive picking holiday in Tuscany and seeing the fruits of our labour being turned into extra virgin olive oil at the mill in the evening! Vincent and Osvaldo were very hospitable and we did so much more than picking olives. With the group we enjoyed great meals and wine at the farmhouse and local restaurants. I particularly enjoyed a trip to Volterra, a fascinating hilltop town. Vincent and Osvaldo brought the Etruscan and Roman roots of the town alive with their knowledge. I look forward to my next visit to Tuscany!

I enjoyed the olive picking, the stay in the Agriturismo, the balanced program and the guidance from Triptoscana (Vincent and Osvaldo). They are the perfect hosts.
Their tips, stories and honest food made with an eye for detail made for a wonderful stay that I will remember with great pleasure. I now appreciate good olive oil and good food even more.

Picking olives, what a party!
It was a pleasure from reception to farewell. The enormous hospitality and cordiality of Osvaldo and Vincent from Triptoscana and Maria-Angela from the agriturismo. The delicious food from Federico and Osvaldo with the beautifully laid tables. Working in the olive grove, the trip to Volterra with the super-fun international group, in a word, fantastic!!

We have such amazing memories from our trip with Triptoscana and the time we spent olive picking in the Agriturismo. Our hosts Vincent and Osvaldo were so much fun to be around and the food we shared during our days there was tremendous. They were very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and hearing their stories of the places they have been and the history of places we visited during the trip was such a pleasure. The accommodations at the agriturismo were also gorgeous with spacious rooms and the most stunning view of the Tuscan landscape. If you need a place to unwind and connect with the landscape, Triptoscana is definitely the agency you should use!

It’s so much more than mere olive picking. It is an unforgettable experience that will bring a deep understanding of Tuscan culture and cuisine. As you work alongside new-found friends gathering the fruit from centuries old olive trees, you will gain an appreciation of the traditions that have made olives and olive oil such a significant part of Italian life. Yes, there is work. But the work is simple and gentle and it takes place under the Tuscan sun in a lovely olive grove. It is the kind of work that is relaxing and joyful, not stressful.
The Agriturismo is the ideal location for this experience. It is spacious and comfortable with elegant furnishings and stunning views of the beautiful surrounding countryside at every turn. The owner is not only an expert producer of wine and olive oil, she is also a gracious and welcoming innkeeper.
And, the most important element of the experience is your hosts, Vincent and Osvaldo, who act as friendly, thoughtful and caring guides to make sure your time spent in Tuscany is as pleasurable and rewarding as it could possibly be.
We have traveled to many places in our lives, in many parts of the world. We can easily say that this is the most meaningful and the most memorable travel experience we have ever had. On a scale of 1 to 10, this rates an 11.

Last autumn I booked a trip to Tuscany - olive harvest - through Triptoscana. My expectations were far exceeded. I am still amazed by the wonderful impressions and experiences. Everything was just right. The two hosts Vincent and Osvaldo organised it brilliantly and with a lot of feeling. I immediately felt at home and the Agriturismo met my expectations. THANK YOU again for this special vacation

In our never-ending search for the secret of Tuscany, the olive harvest could not be missed. We were therefore pleasantly surprised that Vincent and Osvaldo offered us this opportunity with their Triptoscana last October. The grape harvest had just finished and we were at the agriturismo shortly afterwards to harvest the olives so that they were still full of their youthful promise. After picking, the harvest was pressed under our supervision at the frantoio in the evening. The result was a grass-green olive oil full of peppery notes. Very nice to do, very well cared for, as we know it from Vincent and Osvaldo. And you end up with soft green fingers.

My husband and I went to Tuscany for the olive harvest with Vincent and Osvaldo.
We couldn't imagine a working holiday in an olive grove, but it was a wonderful experience. Our accommodation at the Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo, nestled among olive groves and vineyards with a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside, was a highlight every day. Our diverse group, along with Vincent and Osvaldo (the best guides!), learned almost everything about olive oil, from the olive to the finished product, firsthand and with beads of sweat on their brows, over four days.
The fantastic tour guides, who led us on all the excursions, to authentic restaurants, and to other places, made our holiday unforgettable.
Every time we enjoy our own harvested olive oil, we can taste the Tuscany and now understand how much work goes into it.
Anyone who likes Tuscany and olives will love it after this holiday.
Many thanks to Vincent and Osvaldo!

I still rave about this trip and the wonderful experiences. It was a welcome change to be able to switch off from the stress of everyday life. To feel the peace in the olive groves, to help with the harvest, and to clear my head. At Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo, I felt comfortable from the very first moment.
It exudes a family atmosphere. The ambiance in the guesthouses (rooms) reflects the generations that the family business has been around for. From breakfast to dinner, everything was top-notch. Especially dinner, which was just like being at an Italian mama's (family's) home. A large table, lots of people, good conversation, good wine. So, all in all, a complete success.
The entire program is well thought out and well planned by the company "Triptoscana". The days went by calmly and harmoniously, despite the weather playing tricks on us here and there. The wine and olive tasting was educational and exciting for me. I gained a lot of new knowledge, and I'm grateful for that.
The various excursions with Vincent and Osvaldo to Volterra and San Gimignano were enriching and impressive.
They truly convey their love for the land and its people.
All in all, it was a wonderful trip that I thoroughly enjoyed and would love to repeat.
I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Tuscany from a different perspective.

When I think back to my short "Olive Harvest with Triptoscana" vacation, a wave of emotions washes over me—from deep nostalgia to pure joy. The damp scent of the autumnal hills in the morning fills my nostrils again, and the memory of the tranquil olive grove at Podere Arcangelo near Certaldo, bathed in the gentle rays of the sun, instantly relaxes me.
The "Olive Harvest in Tuscany" program, lovingly curated by Vicent and Osvaldo, offers far more than just the experience of picking olives. It includes culinary highlights, a wine tasting at Podere Arcangelo, a fascinating tour of Volterra, an olive oil tasting, and, as a grand finale, homemade pizza at Lara's Home Restaurant.
For me, this vacation package was similar in many ways to the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage I undertook many years ago. Because the destination isn't the olive harvest—the olive harvest itself is the destination. It was about so much more than just picking olives. The program offered me the chance to have an almost meditative, even transcendental experience among century-old olive trees and to meet a group of truly unique people.
The feeling of laying out the nets together, collecting the olives, filling them into crates, and finally taking them to the mill to extract "pure liquid gold" is simply indescribable.
And even if you don't reach that spiritual level—don't worry: it will still be a wonderful, unforgettable short break in Tuscany!

The welcome at Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo by the owner/winemaker was very friendly. Our room was lovely and clean with a view of the olive groves.
The breakfast buffet was plentiful, continental, but also traditional Italian with delicious pastries.
Dinner was typically Tuscan and very good. It always consisted of three or four courses. We also enjoyed a wine tasting accompanied by delicious antipasti. The Chianti Saltimbanco is highly recommended, and the tour of the wine cellar was very interesting. You could tell that a lot of passion goes into making the wines. After all, it's been a family business for three generations.
Osvaldo and Vincent are two friendly and welcoming people. We immediately felt at ease. This was also due to the group; we got along very well from the start. Everything was perfectly organized, and the olive harvest was a wonderful experience. We picked the olives by hand. We also visited an olive oil mill. The olive growers sat there, waiting and watching as their olives were pressed into oil. All that was missing was a glass of wine and a game of chess. ☺ The olive tasting was also very interesting. Afterward, you know what to look for when buying olive oil.
On the last day, we finally got to bottle our olive oil.
We also visited the beautiful city of Volterra. After a guided tour, we enjoyed a delicious meal together at a pre-booked restaurant.
A visit to a very friendly family who served us the most delicious pizzas fresh from their stone oven was also a delightful experience.
On the last evening, we went to a small, elegant restaurant in Certaldo's old town, perched on a hill. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful culinary trip.
All in all, it was a busy yet relaxing five days.
This trip is highly recommended, and a big thank you to you, Osvaldo and Vincent!

Even before the start of our group trip with six people, we were able to discuss our own wishes for the trip with the organizers, making it almost completely customized.
Our guides, Osvaldo and Vincent, accompanied us on every activity, providing us with insider Tuscan information that made the trip even more enjoyable.
Olive picking and wine tasting at the beautiful estate where we stayed, as well as a visit to a local pasta factory, butcher, and cheese farm, all made for a unique experience thanks to the presence of these guides. It felt like you were no longer a typical tourist but were immersed in local life. This trip definitely gets 5 stars thanks to Osvaldo and Vincent!
