Borgo Bottaia
Borgo Bottaia is a small village from the sixteenth century, located in the enchanting hills of the Tuscan countryside embracing Florence. The agriturismo surrounded by a breathtaking panorama of vineyards, olive groves and cypress trees, has been completely restored preserving its original charm and the most picturesque details of old houses.
Bottaia consists of 15 apartments spread over the various houses of the hamlet. They are sober, yet elegantly decorated and all have a private entrance and patio or garden. The country-style apartments give you the feeling of forgotten times but are equipped with all modern conveniences. All bedrooms have their own bathroom.
The hamlet is surrounded by a large garden where you can stroll and relax. The garden is also a nice playground for the kids. The beautiful swimming pool with hydro massage has a picturesque view of the surrounding hills.
It is an oasis of tranquility with views all around and yet a few steps away from Florence. From the nearby village of Grassina, 800 meters away, you can directly get onto the bus to the center of Florence. And to the south, you are right in the Chianti area. Borgo Bottaia is thus also an ideal starting point for touring the Chianti hills with its many small villages and castles.
