B&B Castello di Fonterutoli
B&B Castello di Fonterutoli is located in the heart of the famous Chianti region, nearby the most attractive Tuscan cities Florence and Siena.
The B&B is in an unchanged Medieval hamlet called Fonterutoli. The historic dwellings host 15 cozy rooms, inspired by the colours of Chianti. With floors of old porcelain stoneware, exposed beams, old furnishings of the Marchesi Mazzei and views of the Tuscan countryside. The rooms are located in different houses with each a comfortable living room and kitchen for use of the guests. The breakfast is served in the Osteria in the village. The B&B also has a beautiful swimming pool located amidst the vineyard below the village.
Fonterutoli is a lively little hamlet, located on the "Chiantigiana", the most important road that crosses the heart of Chianti. Besides the Osteria the village also has a bar with alimentari and an enoteca where you can taste the delicious Mazzei wines. Below the village there is also the spectacular Winery of Marchesi Mazzei.
