Family, wine and passion! This is in a beautiful area. Castelvecchio is a place you must see! It is a small family business in Terricciola. The whole family is involved in the business.
They make delicious organic red wine, but our favourite is the Vin Santo, a dessert wine where you dip the delicious Cantuccini biscotti. Real good Vin Santo is rare.
Castelvecchio has two apartments. A large for four people and a small one for two. The prices are favourable. Everything you see on Castelvecchio is hand made by the family, like the furniture, the wine cellar and the racks to dry the grapes for the Vin Santo. There is no pool, but you do not need one. When you come back from a day Pisa, Florence or Siena, the best you can do is to open a bottle of wine on your terrace and enjoy the view. Some delicious stuzzichini...
