Il Castagno
Il Castagno is a small hamlet next to a beautiful Villa with a rich history dating back to the 1600. The holiday apartments are spread over the hamlet, beautifully integrated in the old setting like in the old village school or the old village bakery.
There are 14 apartments in the hamlet, ranging in size from 2 to 8 people. These are furnished respecting the Tuscan tradition and are equipped with every comfort. They all have a separate entrance and a private outdoor space. There is a big swimming pool with next to it a special little pool for children as well as a large playground. All around the hamlet there is a beautiful green garden with a lot of trees.
Il Castagno has a wildlife park of 12 hectares with deer, fawns, squirrels and many other animals. Inside the park there are two ponds with swans and ducks where you can fish. The park is ideal for barbecue, picnics and relaxing walks.
While staying on the Il Castagno estate you can enjoy the fantastic view over Tuscan hills and have nice walks along the natural paths. Il Castagno is great for families who like to spend a comfortable and relaxing stay in Tuscany.
