Villa Montecastello is a luxury Agriturismo that offers its visitors an authentic and unique experience around food and wine. The villa is beautifully located on a hilltop surrounded by olive groves, with vineyards and nature reserves at its base. From the terrace of Montecastello, you have a breathtaking view of the mountains of the Montagnola, ideal for hiking on the well marked trails.
Villa Montecastello has four spacious apartments of varying sizes can be rented individually or combined to accommodate groups of up to 18 guests. Each apartment is beautifully furnished with attention to detail and offers luxury hand ironed linens, hand made olive oil soap, fresh cut flowers and air conditioning.
Jens, his wife Barbara and their children live permanently on Villa Montecastello. The villa is an organic farm and produces olive oil and has also a vegetable garden, fruit trees and farm animals like chickens, pigs and donkeys. Most of the food Jens serves to his guest is from own production. Jens is a wine expert and has wine cellar filled with over 2000 of the best Italian wines. He organises wine tastings and tours to wineries in the region and he is also excellent in private cooking classes.
